PAY & CONDITIONS:

  • House Officers get to nominate Term Preferences.
  • Emergency Department 4*10 hour shifts per week.
  • Wards 0800-1630 Monday to Friday + one on-call period per week.
  • Holidays 5 weeks/year.
  • Study leave one week per year (not including interns).
  • Professional Development Allowance $1,500/year for specialist trainees.
  • Salary in $AUD (for 38 hour week) Effective 01/01/2006 – 31/8/2006

    4JHO $56,014
    4SHO $60,323
    4Registrar & PHO 1st year $74,327 to 6th year $86,176
    plus overtime & salary sacrifice.
